In the final days of February I had the great pleasure to work with Ju Drum an incredibly talented Nigerian Reggae artist living in California. The song features Messenjah Selah and a slew of talented artists. We shot at some incredible locations on the north coast of California. Hey everyone!! Tim Cash of FARfromEARTH Films here! I recently had the great pleasure of working with Mykal Somer on his latest video IT’S WORKING. We had the opportunity to meet and work together last December on a cold day in Portland for the filming of his last single TONITE. I love working with Mykal! He epitomizes the hard-working songwriter hungry to get his message to the people and spread the positive message around the world! We shot his scenes for his latest piece in and around Arcata, California. and used stock footage to tell his story about the system and how “It’s Working”…working for the suites who run this planet and are hell-bent on destroying it and the people who reside on it. as Mykal says in the song “The Time is Now!!” Please check out the video and the one we did together a year ago. both very different and shows off Mykal’s amazing vocal range and power! Hey Everyone! Tim Cash of Far from Earth Films here! In the summer 2012 Jah Sun approached me to do a piece that was about his uncle and the hardship and changes that had fallen on his life. It sounded like a challenge and the first order of business was finding an actor that could transform into a street dweller or in this case turn into a wealthy looking middle-aged man. We hired actor Wayne Newcomb he nailed it and came dressed for success. we shot his street scenes then sent him to the stylist to get studded up for his part as the suit.
we shot this video over 2 days in Bend Oregon. big thankyou to the Old mill for letting us sit in their beautiful flowers. Kristen and Mark for providing their warm beautiful home. Scott Jacobson for his help with our hospital location and his wonderful performance! thx again everyone!
